Working in spectacular surroundings based on the exclusive Sandbanks peninsula, at our boutique 4* Harbour Heights Hotel, are looking to recruit experienced Food and Beverage Assistants to join their teams. The hotels are looking for the best in customer service, so if you have experience working in hotels in customer- facing roles and you are professional and confident, then this could be for you.

Successful candidates would be required to work to a rota which will include weekends, evenings and bank holidays on rotation.

The main responsibilities of the roles include:

  • To acknowledge and assist guests at the earliest opportunity, providing outstanding customer service and a professional attitude at all times.
  • To take orders in line with the hotel’s procedures, reading back to the customer to ensure accuracy.
  • To confidently work within all sittings – breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner.
  • Understanding and being aware of all hotel special offers and rates.
  • Understanding the hotels facilities and food and beverage operations.
  • Ensuring the bar and restaurant areas remain highly presentable and hygienic at all times.
  • Ensuring all products are entered into the till correctly before serving to guests.

Candidate specification:

  • A real passion for providing excellent customer services is a MUST.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Previous experience, ideally in a hotel or hospitality background.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT literate.
  • The candidate must be able to do some physical work as it will be a part of the role.
